The Tennis Center Grand Opening
July 30th, 2010
August 25th will mark the Grand Opening of The Club Tennis Center at The Township. Please join us and the Chanmber for the ribbon cutting at 10:30 AM on Wednesday. The Open House party on Tuesday, August 27th was great. Thanks to all that helped sponsor and set up the event.
The Morgan White Fountain and The Club Construction

If you have not had a chance to see the Morgan White fountain and the steel being erected for The Club at The Township, you should stop by and see it. The fountain is truly a beautiful site. Construction will continue on the fountain for the coming weeks as sidewalks, pavers and landscaping are completed around the structure. Also, The Club construction is coming along nicely with the outdoor pool contractor beginning the first week in August.
New Merchants on the Way

If you have not heard yet, you will soon. Newk's, Majestic Burger and Millie D's frozen yogurt will be opening soon at The Township. Millie D's will be located on Township Avenue and the others will be located in two new buildings that will be under construction very soon along Highland Colony Parkway. Stay tuned for more information on new projects and merchants.
New Restaurant - Sombra Mexican Kitchen

The Township is excited to announce a concept not only new to The Township, but to the Jackson metro area. We are pleased to have Sombra Mexican Kitchen coming to The Township. Sombra will be a fresh take on Mexican cuisine, featuring local ingredients with a modern twist. While the concept is unique to the Jackson market, the restaurateurs have an established resume and operate two of the areas finest restaurants, Char and Amerigo. Led by David Joseph, Doug Hogrefe, Paul Schramkowski and Ben Brock, Sombra Mexican Kitchen will become your destination for fresh, quality food presented with the service you expect.
